Setting up Airmail to use the Internet

Airmail can be setup to use the internet to check you into the Winlink system.  The following information will describe how to setup the necessary information in your computer to log into the Winlink System.

Telnet access to the CMS servers

Open Airmail, then open the Internet Access (or Telnet) module from the module menu.  Click the New button near the top and you should get a Telnet Settings box. Fill yours out to match the box below, but be sure to use your call sign in the local call sign box.

CMS Telnet Setup

Make sure to fill out the box on your setup exactly like it is above. This replaces the older way of connecting to specific servers by using a DNS entry to point to the entire group of servers. You should no longer be connecting to the Washington CMS as it is no longer in operation.
