2010 Froze Toes Bike Race Communications
The 2010 Froze Toes Bike Race is coming
soon! This
is the sixth year that we've done the Froze Toes race
and every year it seems that we get it a little better. This year, we
will be running APRS again and have an indoor net control station
thanks to the Boone County Fire Protection District. For the last few years, BCFD
has provided their Command 2 vehicle for our use at the event which made a great
place for the race officials to come see our operation as well as housing our
net control station and APRS display.
The maps from 2006 and 2007 linked below are
valid again for this year so please use them - however it is possible there will be a minor change to extend the route a few miles. If that happens, we'll get updated maps out ASAP.
