2008 Froze Toes Bike Race Communications
Well, the 2008 Froze Toes Bike Race is coming
very soon! This
is the fouth year that we've done the Froze Toes race
and every year it seems that we get it a little better. This year, we
will be running APRS again and have an indoor net control station
thanks to the Boone County Fire Protection District. Last year, BCFD
provided their Command 2 vehicle for our use at the event which made a great
place for the race officials to come see our operation as well as housing our
net control station and APRS display.
The maps from 2006 and 2007 linked below are
valid again for this year so please use them. If you would like to participate
and have not received an email regarding participation in 2008, please contact
Don - KM0R.
